Richard Allan Hunt, 60, of Red Wing, died Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at his home. He was born February 24, 1955, in Stoughton, Wisconsin, to William and Joyce (Davis) Hunt and graduated from Stoughton High School in 1973. He joined the National Guard Army & then the Reserves. He worked for Stoughton Trailers, Gould in Lake City, Lakeside Cannery Company, Bowman Tool and Die in Rochester, DBI/Sala and Treasure Island. He was united in marriage to Judy Everett on August 18, 1979 in Madison, Wisconsin. He enjoyed bowling and had been on several leagues throughout his life and he also enjoyed NASCAR and watching sports-especially any Wisconsin teams.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; 3 sons, Ryan, William and Thomas Hunt; sisters, Martha (Arnie) Fischer and Lynda (Rick) Zaleski; brothers, Dean (Rose) Hunt and Steve (Andy) Hunt; and nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his parents, mother-in-law, Shirley (Everett) Blaney and father-in-law, Robert Everett.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2015 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Rev. Bill Bradley officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Burnside Cemetery.
