Richard Frank Glewwe died Sunday at his home. Born Oct. 11, 1928 to Frank and Frances (Platt) Glewwe, he was a 1946 graduate of South St. Paul High School and attended the University of Minnesota. He married Josephine Pokorny on Feb. 10, 1948 at St. Matthew's parish hall in St. Paul. He worked at Minnesota Mutual Life for 35 years, and then at the University of Minnesota as an employee benefits counselor. In 1980 he and Josephine moved to Red Wing. Preceded in death by Josephine. Survived by children David (June), Joyce DuBois, Dale (Dottie), Don (Jodie); nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers Carl and Howard (Leta).
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 5 at Riverview Baptist Church, 14 Moreland Ave. E., W. St. Paul. Visitation will be for one hour before the service at the church. Burial of cremains will be at a later date at Calvary Cemetery in Red Wing.
