Renee A. (Hall) Larson

Renee Annette Larson, 73, of Motley, Minn. died Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at the St. Cloud Hospital.

She was born November 15, 1948 in Red Wing to Gilbert and Virginia (Baker) Hall. She grew up in Bay City, Wisc. and graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1967. She went on to cosmetology school in Eau Claire and worked as a beautician for a short time. On October 8, 1968 she married Alan Larson. They lived in Wisconsin before moving to Colorado Springs where they made their home for more than 30 years. During that time, Renee worked as a CNA for outpatient surgery at Penrose St. Francis Hospital. Five years ago, they returned to Minnesota and settled in Motley.

She enjoyed reading, embroidery, word puzzles and caring for her patients--especially her homecare patients, which she did in her retirement. She enjoyed every minute with her grand kids and great-grand babies.

She is survived by her husband, Alan Larson; 5 children, Domita (Gary) Dewald, Bobbette Willmore, Nikki Larson, Lloyd (Kami) Larson and Pacer Taylor; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; twin brother, Roger Hall; brother, Kim (Sandy) Hall and sister, Theresa Senzek.  She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 infant siblings, Michael and Michelle; a sister, Bernadette Odman; grandson Isacc and a daughter-in-law, Linda Larson.

A visitation will be 2-4 p.m., Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com
