Rebecca Kay Hoseth

Rebecca K. ( Becky) Hoseth, age 49, of Zumbrota, formerly of Lake City died Sunday, March 12, 2006 at her mother's home in Zumbrota after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, March 16, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Lands Lutheran Church in rural Zumbrota with Pastor Rob Nelson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, March 15, 2006 from 4:00 - 6:00 P.M. at the Mahn Family Funeral Home - Larson Chapel in Zumbrota and on Thursday one hour prior to the service at the church. Rebecca Kay Hoseth was born on February 21, 1957 in Brainerd, MN to Lloyd and Myrtel (nee Olson) Hoseth. When Becky was five years old her family moved from Brainerd to Wanamingo. In 1968 the family moved to Zumbrota and Becky graduated from Zumbrota High School in 1975. After graduation she worked at several different jobs and most recently she was a forklift driver for Heat -n- Glow in Lake City until her health started failing. Becky enjoyed doing cross stitch, fishing, painting and drawing and cats. Becky is survived by her mother, Myrtel of Zumbrota; brother, Michael (Linda) Hoseth of Liberty, MO; two sisters, Louise (Robert) Tittrington and Julie Quast, both of Zumbrota; special friend, John Gilsdorf of Lake City; ten nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles and cousins. Becky was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd and sister, Susan Hoseth. Casketbearers are Dale Olson, Kelly Nygaard, Pete Quast, Forrest Henn, Jamie Hoseth, Rick Gilsdorf, Tom Nielsen and Chuck Miller. Honorary bearers are her great nieces and nephews, Alex, Andrew, Celeste, Chayse, Claire, Colte, Ethan, Lucas, Marshall, Olivia, and Tyler. The family suggests memorials to Seasons Hospice or donor's choice.
