Raymond A. Cole age 55 of Lake City passed away Saturday, August 11, 2012 at the Summer Bummer Enduro Race in Demotte, IN.
Ray was born November 10, 1956 in Winona, MN to Robert & Madeline (Lewis) Cole. He grew up in Winona and worked at Winona Paint and Glass for 13 years. He married Roxanne Bade October 16, 1976 they later divorced. He moved to Lake City and opened Lake City Glass with Joe Schneider which Ray still owned and operated. Ray married Gail Grinnell September 4, 1999 at the United Methodist Church in Lake City. Ray loved riding his dirt bike and traveling around the United States riding at different trails and events. He was a member of the Golden Eagles Motor Cycle Club and District 23 AMA.
Ray is survived by his wife Gail, two daughters, Lisa (Jessie) Kohnen of Rushford, MN, Stacy (Eric) Schultz of Winona; two sons, Jacob Adler of Lake City, Jedidiah (Holly Denzer) Adler of Lake City; Little Buddy, Christopher; mother, Madeline (Quinten) Cole of Winona; a brother Carl Cole and family of Virginia Beach, VA, and mother in-law, Judy Grinnell. He was preceded in death by his father Robert.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church in Lake City with the Rev. David Neil officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 8 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson-Peterson Chapel Lake City. Friends may also call one hour before the service at the church.
