Phillip E. Baker Phillip Eugene Baker, 78, of Red Wing, died Tuesday at his residence. He was born March 13, 1929, in Graettinger, Iowa to Snowden and Blanche (Wilson) Baker. He graduated from Jackson High School, in Jackson, Minn. in 1948. He married Audrey Majerus on June 24, 1983, in Minneapolis where they lived prior to moving to Red Wing in 2002. He worked as a commercial traffic manager for Greif Brothers Corp. prior to retiring in 1994. He enjoyed reading and writing, fishing and playing cards. He was a member of the New River Assembly of God Church. He is survived by his wife, Audrey of Red Wing; seven sons, Steven (Barbara) Baker of Hastings, Eric (Cheryl) Baker of Akeley, Minn., Jeffery (Mary Wenzlaff) Baker of Hartford, Wis., Todd (Brenda) Baker of La Porte, Minn., Sean Graves of Minneapolis, Patrick Graves of Northfield, and Colin (Karen) Graves of Red Wing; 12 grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Gailen Baker of Montana, Carrol (Maude) Baker of Dickens, Iowa; and one sister, Marvel Houge of Estherville, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Richard Baker. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at New River Assembly of God Church with Reverend Tom Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 -7 p.m. Thursday at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel, and one hour prior to the time of services Friday at the church. Memorials are preferred to Red Wing Area Hospice or the church.
