Peggy Dusbabek

Peggy Ann Dusbabek of Red Wing, Minnesota, died at the age of 72 at her home on Friday April 26th, 2024. Peggy was born on March 19th, 1952 to Kenneth and Laverne (Hanegraaf) Thielbar of Faribault, Minnesota. She grew up in the neighboring town of Kilkenny where she would go on to meet her husband, Donald Dusbabek. On July 22nd 1972, Peggy and Donald were married. Peggy and Don loved to travel to various places throughout their lives- later on including their children and grandchildren. Peggy was an avid flower lover and took great pride in her gardening. She enjoyed crocheting, crafting, and spending time with her beloved dog, Cleo. Her favorite of all, was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

 She is survived by her three children, Nichole (Buck) Strusz, Mark Dusbabek and Gary (Pam) Dusbabek; seven grandchildren, Brittany, Emily, Katelyn and Jacob Strusz, Julia and Brynn Dusbabek and Cora Dusbabek; two great-grandchildren, Alex and Noah; four brothers, Denny Thielbar, Rick Thielbar, Steve (Cathy) Thielbar and Gary Thielbar, along with nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Donald on May 22nd, 2015, and two brothers, Tim and Stephen.

 Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 8th from 3pm-5pm, followed by a memorial service at 5pm at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel. Burial will be held at 9:30am on Thursday May 9th, at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
