Pearl Borgschatz

Pearl A. Borgschatz age 67 of Zumbrota died on Thursday evening, December 7, 2006 at the Zumbrota Nursing Home. A memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at United Redeemer Lutheran Church in Zumbrota with Reverend Susan Vikstrom officiating. Inurnment will be in Zumbrota Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, December 11, 2006 from 4:00 ? 7:00 P.M. at the Mahn Family Funeral Home ? Larson Chapel and on Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the church. Pearl Anne Henderson was born on March 28, 1939 in Castle Rock Township, Dakota County, MN to Leonard R. and Lula E. (nee Grant) Henderson. She grew up in the Farmington area and attended school there. Pearl worked for Brockway Glass Company in Rosemount until her marriage to Paul E. Borgschatz on September 21, 1968 at Christ Lutheran Church in Zumbrota. They farmed in rural Goodhue until 1971 when they started farming in Zumbrota Township. Pearl worked at D & S Manufacturing in Pine Island for ten years. She enjoyed doing crafts and collecting refrigerator magnets and Hot Wheel Cars. Pearl is survived by one son, Keith (Tracy) Borgschatz of Zumbrota, three grandchildren, Kayla, Zachery and Alexis, and one brother, Bob Henderson of Farmington. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul, her parents, two sisters, Ada Johnston and Jean Schuette, two infant brothers and one infant sister.
