Patricia "Pat" L. (Johnson) Hanson

Patricia “Pat” Louise Hanson, 65, of Austin, formerly of Red Wing, died Thursday, October 27, 2022, at her home.  She was born on March 6, 1957, in Red Wing to Ray and Karna (Diercks) Johnson.  She attended schools in Red Wing and the Red Wing Technical College.  On December 23, 1984, she was married to Terry Hanson.  She worked as a secretary in real estate and also was employed at other various businesses in Red Wing.  She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, playing cards, especially cribbage and board games.

She is survived by her two children, Stephanie (Todd) Jerabek of Plainfield, IL and Charlie (Kimmy) Hanson of Austin; two grandchildren, Jamie and Hannah; siblings, Raymond (Diana) Johnson Jr. of Stillwater, Janet (Bill) Auchampach of Red Wing, Jean (John) Furney of Red Wing, Karen (Jim) Malone of Wabasha and Norma Haynes of Spooner, WI along with nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Frederick and her siblings, Diane Anderson, Jim Johnson and Arlene Woodland.

Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, November 3, 2022, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Red Wing.  Visitation will be from 12 noon until the time of the service. A reception will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, at the Red Wing Elks Club.
