A memorial service for Patricia Zickmund will be held Monday March 11th at 4:00 PM at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Rochester Chapel. The Reverend Dan Doering will officiate. Mrs. Zickmund, 83, of Rochester, died Tuesday March 5, 2013 at Maple Manor Nursing Home in Rochester, where she had recently been residing.
Patricia Lynn Little was born September 23, 1929 in Gary, Indiana, the daughter of McDonald and Madge (nee Forsch) Little. She lived most of her life in LaPorte, Indiana. Her husband, Richard D. Zickmund, was a homebuilder, real estate agent, and bank vice-president. Mrs. Zickmund moved to Rochester fifteen years ago, then moved to New Mexico for a few years, and returned to Rochester five years ago.
She is survived by a son, Jim (Patti) Zickmund of LaPorte, Indiana; a daughter, Susan (Klaus Bieleseldt) Zickmund of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two sisters.
There will be no reviewal. However, the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 1624 - 37th Street NW, on Monday.
