Patricia Wallin

Patricia Ann Wallin, 88, of Red Wing, died July 24, 2013 at the Seminary Home. Patricia was born December 6, 1924 to Lee and Myrtle (Pearson) Morse in Pine Island, Minn. The family later moved to Welch where she attended country school. She graduated from Red Wing Central High School. On February 2, 1944 she married Royce Wallin and the couple made their home in Red Wing. Patricia worked for the Red Wing Shoe Company as a stitcher for 33 years until her retirement in 1987. Royce passed away in 1994. She was a long time member of Cross of Christ Church in Welch. Patricia enjoyed camping, boating and cooking as well as socializing with friends and family. She loved music and could play the piano and sing. Her witty sense of humor will be greatly missed.
She is survived by three grandchildren, Shelly (Eric) Ostrem of Coon Valley, Wis., Jeremy (Bridget) Wallin of Stockholm Wis, and Ryan Wallin of Stockholm, Wis.; three great-grandchildren, Morgan and Mason Ostrem of Coon Valley, Wis. and Kayla Wallin of Red Wing; one great niece, Molly Mickelson of Los Angeles, Calif.
She is preceded in death by her husband; one son, Jerry Wallin; sister, Leona Ellingson; niece, Joan Mickelson and her beloved schnauzer, Muffy.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn chapel with Debby Bradley officiating. Burial will be at Burnside Cemetery.
