Later, she served two term's on Delta Gamma's Council as Vice President-Alumnae.

Pat was also a long time Red Cross volunteer, starting as a "Candy Striper" in high school, then as a "Gray Lady" in later years while living in suburban Detroit, and near Syracuse, NY. More recently, she was a "Pink Lady" volunteer at St. John's Hospital in Red Wing, MN (as well as President of the St. John's Hospital Auxiliary), along with serving on the board of River Region Health Services.
After moving to Red Wing in 1976, she also became an avid swimmer in her backyard pool, golfer, Monday cyclist with the "Washday Wheelers," and a partner in the River Peddler antiques shop that was located in Red Wing's historic St. James Hotel for many years.
Pat is survived by her sons, Douglas T. (Doreen) of North Wales, PA and Scott E., of Riverview, Florida; three grandchildren: Peter (Melissa Gerst) of Bel Air, MD, Jonathan (Melissa Benson) of Ridgecrest, CA, and Sarah (Lisa Rake) of Norristown, PA; and two great-grandchildren: Paytynn Ann Ross and Carter Douglas Ross, both of Ridgecrest, CA.
