Patricia I. Richardson

July 3, 1936 — January 17, 2015

Patricia Ivalene Richardson, 78, of Lake City, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2015. She was born July 3, 1936, in Lake City, to Alfred and Malinda (Plote) Heitman and graduated from Lake City High School. Patricia loved Arabian horses and raised them for many years. She worked as a pastry chef at an exclusive resort on Useppa Island, Florida for 15 years before returning to Lake City. In 1998, she was united in marriage to Russell Richardson. Patricia was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church where she had been an active member. She will be forever remembered for her love of baking and decorating cakes, and most of all, her love of butterflies.
She is survived by her husband, Russell of Lake City; two children, Lucinda "Cindy" (Stan) Ockwig of Orlando, FL and Larry (Dawn) Luhmann of Lake City; three step children, Wayne Richardson, Debbie Messina and Kimberly Green; ten grandchildren and one brother, Perry (Mary Jane) Heitman of Lake City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Justin Luhmann, and a step son, Allen Richardson.
Memorial service for Patricia will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, at Bethany Lutheran Church with Rev. Scott Fiege officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Anderson-Peterson Chapel, Lake City.
