Patricia Mae (Forrest) Mullinix

Patricia Mae Mullinix ,78, of Pine Island, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 8th, 2020 at Methodist Hospital.
Patricia was born in Baxter, Minnesota on May 13, 1942, to Percy and Della Forrest. She was the oldest of 4 children, growing up in the country, in the little tiny town of Hackensack, Minnesota.
On October 15, 1977, Pat married Leslie "Les" Mullinix, they shared 30 years together before his passing in 2008. Pat was a dedicated employee at the Pine Haven Care Center working in the dietary department, for over 20 years.
Pat enjoyed traveling, playing Bingo, going to the casino, and her dog, Colby. She was a big fan of the Minnesota Twins.
She is survived by one daughter, Pam (Dan) Jackson, two sons; Brian Stephan and Shawn (Lori) Shelstad, many wonderful grandchildren; Thomas (Lindsey) Jackson, Jace (Kayla) Jackson, Paige (Dan) Callahan, Haily (Nick) Murry, Hunter (Daisy) Shelstad, great-grandchildren; Addison and Iris Jackson, Beau and Nora Callahan, Maverick Murry and Bennett Jackson.
Preceded in death by; parents Percy and Della Forrest, husband Leslie, brother Art Forrest, sister Bonnie and baby (infant) brother.
Please join us for a celebration of Pat's life on Saturday, November 14th in Pine Island, from 11:00 to 3:00, at the American Legion Post # 184, 108 1st Avenue S.E..
If you wish to send flowers, please send them to Pine Haven Care Center, in honor of our mom. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
