Patricia Ann Leach

Patricia Leach, age 54, of Lake City, passed away Friday, October 18, 2013 at her residence. She was born July 14, 1959 in Minneapolis to Joseph and Elizabeth (Etinier) Leach. She grew up in the Plymouth area and graduated from Wayzata High School. During her senior year of high school she began working at the Star Tribune newspaper, and she continued to work there for 30 years. In 2008 she moved to Lake City. She was a member of St. Mary's of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake City, where she participated in the choir. She enjoyed puzzles, collecting thimbles, and most of all spending time with her grandkids.
Patricia is survived by her daughter Candace (fiancé, Joseph Swartling) Leach of Whitehall, WI; two grandsons, Dylan Leach and Landen Swartling; brothers, Walter and Tom Leach; sisters, Betty Twitchell, Sue Rasmuson, Kathy Goodman, and Alice Junes. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Leach.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, October 24 at St. Mary's of the Lake Catholic Church with Father Joseph Pete officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Mahn Family Funeral Home, Anderson-Peterson Chapel is assisting with the arrangements. Online condolences can be sent at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com.
