Patricia Anne Harvey, age 79 of Lake City, Minnesota, formerly of East Tawas, Michigan and Webster, Florida passed away on May 14, 2011 at home.
Pat was born March 29, 1932, in Rochester Michigan to Ervin and Catherine Miller. She married Thomas Harvey on August 29, 1953 in Rochester. They moved to East Tawas, Michigan in 1968. She retired after 25 years of service to the Tawas Area School System. Enjoying their retirement Pat and Tom traveled for many years visiting family and friends. Residing in Webster Florida after many years of travel, they continued to enjoy traveling and having family and friends visit. They relocated to Lake City, Minnesota in 2005. Pat was an active member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Lake City serving on Altar Guild, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the church. She was also an active member of Lake City Medical Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom; her parents, Ervin and Catherine; her brother, Bill; and a step-grandchild, Tiffany.
She is survived by her children; daughter, Kris (Jerry) Abidin of Lake City, Minnesota, son, John (Sherry) Harvey of Brighton Michigan, daughter, Anne Senter (fiancé Carl Pulley) of Brodnax Virginia; three grandchildren Sherry Senter, Jordan Harvey, and Patrick Senter; step-grandchild, Tony Abidin; four step-great-grandchildren; sister, Mary (John) Sherby; brother, Robert (Jean) Miller; sister-in-law, JoAnne Miller; several nieces and nephews.
The celebration of her life will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 11, 2011 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Lake City with Reverend Scott Fiege officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Mahn Family Funeral Home, Anderson-Peterson Chapel in Lake City is handling the arrangements. Memorials are preferred to one of the following: Mayo Hospice - Wabasha 1200 5th Grant Boulevard West, Wabasha, MN 55981-1042 or Bethany Lutheran Church Altar Guild, 525 South 6th Street, Lake City, MN 55041.
