Patricia Ann Anderson

Patricia "Pat" Anderson, 70, of Rochester passed into God's gracious arms on Saturday June 11th, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Pat was born on May 18th, 1941 in Spring Valley, MN to Kenneth and Louise Michelson. The family later made their home in the Grand Meadow area and moved to Rochester during Pat's senior year of high school.
On July 31st, 1960, she married Richard Nelson. They later divorced. She was united in marriage to Richard "Dick" Anderson on January 15th, 1977.
Pat was the most amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and for that, she will forever be missed. Everyone that met her, loved her. She was strongly devoted to her family and so very much loved all of her "babies."
She is survived by her husband; five children, Vicki (Mark) Schneckloth of Rochester, Curt (Jill) Nelson of Rochester, SuzAnn "Suzi" Nelson of Isle of Palms, SC, Brad Anderson of Rochester, and Tara (Josh) Braun of Eyota; eight grandchildren, Eric, Crissy, and Sara Schneckloth, Amanda (Nelson) McNamara, Tony and Matthew Nelson, all of Rochester, and Greta and Hudson Braun of Eyota; four great-grandchildren, Leslee, Marshall, Samuel, and Addyson; two brothers, Ronald (Marilyn) Michelson of Wasilla, AK, and Thomas (Michelle) Michelson of Rochester; special niece, Cara Michelson; and many other relatives and friends.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be at Mahn Family Funeral Home in Rochester on Tuesday June 14th, 2011 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
A memorial service will be held at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Rochester at 11:00am on Wednesday June 15th, 2011.
Interment will be following a luncheon at the church at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester.
The family also wishes to thank the Mayo Clinic doctors and special Mayo Hospice staff that were so gentle in caring for Pat.
