Park Zillgitt

Park Anthony Zillgitt, 78, of Rochester, passed away on March 8, 2021 in Rochester.

He was born in Austin, MN on July 6, 1942 to Julius and Ruth (Hanson) Zillgitt. He graduated from Austin High School and joined the Army National Guard reserves and worked for IBM for many years. Park loved listening to the old classics, Johnny Cash and especially the “King of Rock and Roll” Elvis Presley. He also enjoyed playing bingo, Yahtzee. Those that knew Park knew he was a good man and will be missed.

He is survived by his wife, Martha; son, Bradley (Schiann) Zillgitt; step-daughter, Michelle Arneson; grandson, Gavin and close friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Ronnie Zillgitt.

A burial for Park will be held on Tuesday March 16, 2021 at 11:00am in Lake City at Oakwood Cemetery with military honors.
