Pacer “Hepî” Eugene Taylor, 48, of Motley, formerly of Prairie Island, died Sunday at Essentia Health in Fargo. He was born on September 23, 1975, in Minneapolis to Janet Taylor. He grew up in Minneapolis and Prairie Island. For the past 10 years he has resided in Motley. He enjoyed the farm life raising many animals. He was married twice and later divorced.
Pacer is survived by his nine children, Pacer Jr., Tristan, Shandon, Catera, Giovanni, Salvador, Chyanne, Dakota and Jaxon; two sisters, Shalane (Richard) Bush and Domita (Garry) DeWald, Sr.; girlfriend, Nikki Larson; step father, Allen Larson and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2024, at the Prairie Island Community Center. Visitation will begin after 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at the Prairie Island Community Center until the time of service on Friday. There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday evening. All are welcome to meet at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5, at the Tipsy Turtle to walk in procession to the community center.
