Olga Caletta Ebersold, 100, of Red Wing, died Sunday evening at the Fairview Seminary Home. She was born on May 13, 1908, in Kenyon, Minnesota to Ole and Christina Hanson and she attended schools there. She married Thelmar Enevold and they later divorced. She lived in Zumbrota and in 1943 moved to Red Wing. On February 27, 1949 she married Charley Ebersold in Wabasha. They lived in Red wing where she worked at Red Wing Pottery, Daley Nursing Home and St. John's Hospital. Charley died on July 19, 1979. She was a member of United Lutheran Church and enjoyed reading, crocheting and gardening. Her family remembers her for all the baking she did, especially her date cookies and fresh baked buns.
Survivors include five children, James (Lavon) Enevold of Bay City, Richard Enevold of Red Wing, Howard Enevold of Bay City, Robert (Nancy) Enevold of Red Wing and Carol (Donald) Bolland of Ottertail, Minn.; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and one sister, Elaine Hanson of Kenyon. She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Gerald and Charles Enevold and five sisters and one brother.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at United Lutheran Church with Rev. Steve Timm officiating. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kelly Kuyath, Brent Bolland, Kim Wilde, Robert and Hope Enevold and Leslie Schoenfelder. Honorary pallbearers will be Carla Mason, Tammy Norman and Greg and Brad Enevold. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel and at the church for one hour prior to the service.
