Norris Donald Thomforde

Norris Donald Thomforde, age 65, of Goodhue, MN  passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 20, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Susie, son Jeremy (Melissa) Thomforde of Goodhue, MN, daughters Afton (John) O'Reilly of Verona, WI, Brandi (Damien) Turini of Franklin, MA, Toni (Brian Lee) Thomforde of Minneapolis, MN, 11 grandchildren, as well as his mother Shirley Thomforde of Red Wing, MN and four sisters. He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Thomforde, and nephew Kelly Hanson.
Norris worked as a heavy equipment operator for the family business, Thomforde Enterprises. He had retired at the beginning of the year and passed the business on to his son. He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, camping, spending summers at the cabin, playing games and cards.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 4:00pm - 7:00pm at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Larson Chapel in Zumbrota, MN. A private family service will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022.
Blessed be his memory. He will be deeply missed.
