Norman R. Thoe age72 of Lake City died October 26, 2007 at home.
Norman was born July 18, 1935 in Rock Dell, MN to Selmer & Regina (Bolstad) Thoe. He attended school in the Rock Dell and Stewartville area. He enlisted in the Army in 1958 and was stationed in Korean. After his discharged in 1960 he then lived in the Wabasha area. Norman married Marilyn Holthaus May 28, 1977 in Charles City, Iowa. They farmed in the Lake City area. In 1998 he retired from farming and they moved to Lake City. He was a member of the Lake City United Methodist Church.
Norman is survived by his wife, Marilyn; one son Randy (Amy) of Turlock, CA; one daughter Marsha (Michael) Wright of Arvada, CO; two brothers, Donald (Aleta) of Lake City, Arthur of Charles City, IA; two sisters, Ruth Maasch of Rochester, Lois (John) Wilder of Phoenix, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents two brothers, Joe and Sanford; two sisters, Alice Larson and Dorothy Ustby.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am at the United Methodist Church in Lake City with the Rev. Don Jones officiating. Friends may call one hour before the service at the church. Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson-Peterson Chapel Lake City.
