Norman Holby

Norman Herbert Holby, 51, of Elmwood, Wisconsin, died Monday, August 11, 2008 at United Hospital in St. Paul. He was born November 27, 1956 in Minneapolis. He attended Harding High School from 1972-1975 and for many years had lived in the St. Paul area. For the past four years he lived in the Red Wing area and was employed at SCS AIM in Red Wing. He enjoyed the Minnesota Twins, hockey and had been an excellent athlete.

He is survived by his mother, Judy Goettsche of Greenville, South Carolina; siblings, Jerry Holby of Mpls., Jeff (Dianne) Holby of Evans, Colorado, Tom (Kathy) Goettsche of Greensville, South Carolina; special friend, Ambrosia Knight of Elmwood; one nephew; four nieces and one great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his step-father, John Goettsche.

A visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel. Burial will be held in South Carolina at a later date. Memorials preferred to the Kidney Foundation.
