Norman "Stormin Norman" Hadeler age 48 of Lake City passed away Monday, July 5, 2010 at his home.
Norman was born February 24, 1962 in Lake City to Fritz & Katharina (Eckert) Hadeler. Norman graduated from Lincoln High School in 1980. Norman worked as a Black Jack Dealer at Treasure Island Casino for 17 years. Norman was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Lake City. He enjoyed riding his Harley, playing basketball and spending time with his friends and family.
Norman is survived by his sister, Liz Powers of Apache Junction, AZ; nephews, Matt (Mary) Powers of Lake City, Rick (Cindy) Powers of Lake City, Billy Powers of Buckeye, AZ, Craig Powers of Santan Valley, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Fritz Hadeler and a niece Connie (Powers) Cross.
A Memorial service will be held Friday, July 9, 2010 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lake City at 11:00 AM with Rev. Daniel Kroll officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery in Lake City. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 8 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson-Peterson Chapel Lake City. Friends may also call one hour before the service at the church. Memorials are preferred to Juvenile Diabetes and the Kidney Foundation. Condolences may be left on-line at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com
