Nancy Lou (Van Beek) Tuinstra

Nancy Tuinstra, 77, of Rochester, passed away June 22, 2021 at her home surrounded by family. Nancy Lou Van Beek was born December 14, 1943 in Roseland, IL to Cornelius and Wilhemina (Teerman) Van Beek. She grew up in Lansing, Illinois with sisters Vivian, Gladys and Marilyn. Nancy was united in marriage to Peter Tuinstra on June 26, 1965. She was a registered nurse for 43 years, specializing in pediatrics, nuclear medicine, transfusion medicine and was also part of the IV team. Nancy was always thinking of others and how she could serve God by serving others.

Nancy is survived by her husband Peter; 3 children, Paul Tuinstra of Rochester, MN, Brad Senstra of Seattle, WA and Vicki Tupa of Sykesville, MD; 10 grandchildren.

The memorial service for Nancy will be 12:00 noon on Saturday June 26 at Rochester Community Church (971 16th Street SE, Rochester, MN 55904) with Pastor Joshua Johnson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Lunch and fellowship will follow the service.
