Nancy Jean Pearson, 61, of Frontenac, died unexpectedly, due to complications of a stroke, on Friday, August 29, 2014 at St. Brigid's at Hi-Park.She was born on September 2, 1952 in Red Wing to Carl and Joyce (Betcher) Pearson. She graduated in 1970 from Ellsworth High School. For over 40 years she has worked at Riedell Shoes in Red Wing. Her passion was gardening, raising many vegetables. She enjoyed canning, baking bread, along with being an avid animal lover and spending time with her family.
Survivors include longtime companion, Tom Fleming of Frontenac; her father Carl Pearson of Red Wing; two sisters, Deborah (Tom) Howard and Carla (Brent) Langer all of Ellsworth; one brother, Scott (Barb) Pearson of Chaska and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and one infant nephew, Kade Langer.
Memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday, September 6, 2014 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Chaplain Kelly Adelsman officiating.
