Obituary Notice
Nancy J. Brinkman

Nancy Jean Brinkman, age 68, of Lake City passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 28 at the Lake City Hospital. She was born on October 4, 1942 in Rochester to Harry and Christine (Nelson) Moyer. They moved to Lake City where she was confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1959. She began working at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. On August 26, 1961 she married Roger Brinkman at St. John's Lutheran in Lake City. She helped work on the family dairy farm, running errands and feeding animals and most importantly took care of her family. Nancy was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed being outside whether it be mowing lawn, taking care of her flowers, being with her pets, going up north to the family cabin in northern WI, the North shore of MN, or going for rides with Roger. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild, being the best grandmother ever.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Roger; children, Shari (Larry) Witt, Dawn (Andy) Rolph, Alan (Kari) Brinkman all of Lake City; grandchildren Travis (fiancé Alyssa) Rolph, Tyler (fiancé Leslie) Rolph, Ashley and Jordon Brinkman; great-grandchild Brayden Rolph; brother, Jim Moyer of Wabasha; special friends Sandy and Richard McQuiston of Lake City; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and eleven brothers and sisters.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 1 at St. John's Lutheran Church with Reverend Daniel Kroll officiating. Burial will take place at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8p.m. Thursday, June 30 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Anderson-Peterson Chapel in Lake City and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
