Mildred Roth

Mildred Alice Kunow Roth, 95, of Rochester, Minnesota died of natural causes at her Charter House home September 20, 2024.

Born in Des Plaines, Illinois on August 14, 1929, she was the only child of Alma and Walter Kunow. She grew up in that area and graduated from Maine Township High School in Park Ridge, Illinois in 1947. In 1948 she married Robert (Bob) McLane. This union brought forth two children, Janet and Scott. Mildred and Robert later divorced. In 1966 she married Arnold Roth. Mildred and Arnold lived in the Ventura, California area until they returned to Rochester in 2002 and resided at Charter House. Arnold passed away in 2009. In 2012 Mildred connected with Arnold's high school friend, Kenneth Bonnicksen, and the two were companions until Kenneth's passing in 2022.

Both her children (Janet and Scott) preceded her in death along with husbands Robert McLane, Arnold Roth, and companion, Kenneth Bonnicksen.

Survivors include two Grandsons, Randall Daugherty (Jennifer) of Steilcoom, Washington and Paul McLane (Dori) of Sparks, Nevada, and Kenneth's family, Dawn (Larry) Plenge and Penny (Scott) Kirtz of Rochester, as well as Mildred's great-grandchildren.

In accordance with Mildred's wishes, memorials will be donated to charities she previously designated.

A funeral service will be held Thursday September 26th at 11:00 AM at Mahn Family Funeral Home - Rochester Chapel. The Reverend Josh Moldenhauer will officiate. The visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Rochester.
