Mildred Wilhemina Kathrine Breuer, 94, longtime resident of Welch and Red Wing, died Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at Fairview Red Wing Medical Center. She was born June 29, 1911 in Belvidere Township, the daughter of Bernard and Mary (Gleason) Wiebusch and attended schools in Belvidere. She married Armond Breuer on July 12, 1929. They farmed together for many years. He died March 5, 1982. She worked at Smead?s, the Dairy Queen, Vasa Childrens? Home, as a cook, and at the Anderson Center. She also wallpapered and was a painter. She was a member of Cross of Christ Lutheran Church and enjoyed doing crafts, cooking, gardening and being a mother and grandmother. Survivors include one son, Delbert (Bobbie) Breuer of Red Wing; four daughters, Darlene (Bud) Kieffer of Hastings and Arizona, Diane J. Cole of Florida, Delores (Howard) Hase of Red Wing and DeVonna (Gary) Meyer of Oronoco; one step-daughter, Delphine (Arnold) Nelson of Red Wing; one sister, Bernice Schumacher of Goodhue; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers, Harold and Donald Wiebusch; two sisters, Margie Holden and Melinda Wiebusch; and one step-grandson. Funeral will be 11 a. m. Saturday at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church with Reverend Bob Albing officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel and on Saturday for one hour prior to the service at the church.
