Mildred "Milli" Bremer, 89, of Rochester, died Wednesday (Nov. 28, 2012) at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.
Mildred Marie Otto was born Sept. 23, 1923 in Mankato, MN to John and Ottilie (Born) Otto. She was raised in Mankato and Graduated from high school there in 1941. She then attended Commercial College in Mankato. On Dec. 2, 1950 she married Leland "Lee" Bremer in Mankato. The couple lived in Southern Minnesota and the Twin Cities before moving to Rochester in 1968. Millie worked at the American Board of Radiology and Adler's Travel Agency in Rochester. Her husband is retired from Midwest Breeders. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and enjoyed traveling, knitting, reading, and music.
Survivors include her husband, Lee, of Rochester; and her son, John (Cynthia) Bremer of Moorhead, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Redeemer Lutheran Church with the Rev. James Heining officiating. Friends may call one hour before the service at the church on Monday. Private Inurnment will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
