Michael Glenis Guenther passed away peacefully surrounded by his daughters on Friday, August 31st, 2018 after a long battle with illness.
Michael was born September 20th, 1951 in Red Wing, MN to Bernard and Dorothy Guenther. He was the youngest of eight children. He grew up near Bellechester, MN and spent most of his life in the surrounding areas. He was a talented craftsman and enjoyed working on cars, spending time outdoors fishing and hiking. He was revered for his nonjudgmental demeanor and fun loving spirit.
Michael is survived by four brothers, three sisters, four daughters, Lori Salah, Lisa Guenther, Jennifer Guenther, Dupree Tesmer, one son, Jeremy Guenther, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was proceeded in death by his mother and father.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Friday, September, 7, 2018 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Larson Chapel, Zumbrota. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
