Michael Corrigan

Michael Jerome Corrigan, age 63, of Red Wing, died Thursday, September 4, 2008, at Fairview Red Wing Medical Center. He was born on September 25, 1944, in Minneapolis to Jerome and Astrid (Noden) Corrigan. He was a 1962 graduate of Hopkins High School and served in the U.S. Marines. He attended accounting school and worked as an accountant for various companies in the Twin Cities until 1998. He married Cathy Tobias and they later divorced. On June 25, 1993, he was married to Marilyn Henning in Red Wing. For the past two years, he has worked in security for Treasure Island. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and enjoyed bowling and watching old movies.

Survivors include his wife Marilyn Henning of Red Wing; two children, John Corrigan of Baltimore, Maryland, and Amy Corrigan of the Twin Cities; two step-children, Douglas (Kris Kvols) Fryer of Red Wing, and Angela (Diego Bonta) Fryer of St. Paul; one sister Margaret Corrigan of Hopkins. His parents preceded him in death.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church with Reverend Gary Elg officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 � 4 p.m. Sunday at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel, and one hour prior to the time of services Monday at the church. Memorials are preferred to the church.
