Melroy E. Buck

Melroy Edward Buck, 80, of Bellechester, passed away on July 30, 2021 at his home with his family around him. He was born on October 19, 1940 to Harry and Ester (Hinrich) Buck. He was baptized and confirmed at Christ Lutheran Church. Melroy married Edith Kahl on September 7, 1968. He worked for many different construction companies and was a member of the Carpenters Union for 50 years. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going on hunting trips and relaxing and playing with Ollie, his dog.

He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Walter, Harold and Bernard.

He is survived by his wife, Edith; three children, Nancy Dahling, Jeffrey (Amanda) Buck, and Carrie (Dave) Peterson, all of Bellechester; 12 grandchildren, Dylan, Joshua and Charles Dahling, Joe, Alexander and Cody Buck, Paige, Alivia, Payton, and Austin Holst, Jake and Aaron Peterson; 4 great-grandchildren, Ivy, Ava, Daniella and Jace; and one sister, Lucy Grothe.

A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 6, 2021 at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Goodhue with pastor Todd Engel officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church.
