Megan Dianne Lensch, 29, Red Wing, died Tuesday at Fairview University Medical Center from complications of leukemia. She was born October 6, 1978 in Lake City, Iowa, the daughter of Buel "Skip" and Vicki (Stewart) Lensch, Jr. The family lived in Glidden, Iowa before moving to Red Wing in December, 1986. She was a 1997 graduate of Red Wing High School and she attended the Southeast Technical College in Winona. She had a real estate license and she was the beverage manager for Rochester Golf and Country Club.
Survivors include her parents of Red Wing; one sister, Eryne (Todd) Lillico of Red Wing; one niece, Jackie Lillico and one nephew, Teddy Lillico; her maternal grandfather, Gene (Eldeen) Stewart of Greenfield, Iowa; her paternal grandmother, Barbara Lensch of Glidden, Iowa; aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Mildred Stewart and her paternal grandfather, Buel Lensch, Sr.
Funeral will be 11 a. m. Saturday at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Reverend Karen Pahl officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Todd Lillico, Hans, Blaine, Trent, Kreg and Jeff Lensch, Don, Tim and Tom Stewart. Visitation will be 4-7 p. m. Friday and for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials are preferred to the Minnesota Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or the Angel Foundation.
