Maybelle Wells

Maybelle Wells age 96 of Coon Rapids Formerly of Lake City died Tuesday May 9, 2006 at her home. Maybelle was born August 10, 1909 in Lake City, MN to Henry & Lena (Reinhard) Baesler. She married Harry Wells August 10, 1931 in St. Paul, MN. They lived in St. Paul where she worked for RL Polk and Company. They then traveled the United States working for RL Polk until retiring in 1981 and moved to Henning, MN. In 1987 they moved to Grand Island, Nebraska. Harry died in 1990 and she moved to Lake City to live with her family. In 1997 she moved to Coon Rapids where she currently lived. She is survived by three granddaughters, Vicki & Christine Rousu of Coon Rapids, Sue (Tom) Anderson of Coon Rapids, Donna (D?Angelo) Smith of St. Paul; five grandsons, Harry (Ginny) Rousu of Brainerd, MN, Frank (Karen) Rousu of Dallas, GA, Don (Elaine) Rousu of Round Prairie, MN, Darrell Rousu Jr. of Blaine, MN, Drew (Julie) of Lino Lakes, MN; 27 great grandchildren & 5 great great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Donna Rousu; a granddaughter Cyndie Thomas , three brothers and five sisters. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson-Peterson Chapel Lake City with the Rev. Harry Rousu officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery in Lake City. Friends may call one hour before the service at the funeral home.
