ROCHESTER ? A memorial service for Matthew J. ?Matt? Hagler will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Church of Saint John the Evangelist with Rev. James A. McCauley officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Mr. Hagler, 41, of Rochester, died Monday (April 17, 2006) at his home of lung cancer. Born Feb. 2, 1965 in Concord, CA he moved to Rochester as a child and graduated from John Marshall High School in 1983. He married Kristine Pankratz, they were later divorced. He lived in Carson City, NV returning to Rochester in 1998. He had worked at Taco Bell and Timeless Treasures. He enjoyed music and movies. Survivors include a daughter Michelle; his mother Anne Hagler of Rochester; his father Arthur Kuzniewski of Carson City, NV; his step-father Dr. Donald J. (Sharon) Hagler, Sr. of Rochester; two sisters Kathleen McDonald of Minneapolis, MN; and Mary Siem of Colorado Springs, Co; four brothers Steven (Val) Hagler of Hove, England; Thomas Hagler of Rochester; Donald (Yen) Hagler, Jr. of Chula Vista, CA; and Christopher (Kristin) Kuzniewski of Rochester. Friends may call one hour before the service at the church. Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor?s choice. Mahn Family Funeral Home ? Rochester Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
