Mary Truttman

Mary "Jo" Truttman, 59, of Red Wing, died Sunday, July 13, 2008 at her home. She was born July 20, 1948 in Red Wing to Donnie and Marian (Johnson) Gardas and graduated from Ellsworth High School with the class of 1966. On September 21, 1968, she married Steve Truttman. They lived in rural Ellsworth until 1978 when they moved to Trenton Island. She worked many years for Mary's Supper Club until it burnt down in 1987. After that she worked at Josten's and Norwood Products. In 2000 they moved to Red Wing. She was a member of United Lutheran Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, camping, boating and Elvis.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Steve; two daughters, Stacy (Steve) Wood and Mandi (Bruce Cleveland) Gadient both of Red Wing; mother, Marian Gardas of Red Wing; sister, Roxi (Reggie) Berg of Red Wing and five grandchildren, Mills, Vanessa, and Mason Wood, Tucker and Jackson Gadient. She was preceded in death by her father, Donnie Gardas.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at United Lutheran Church with Reverend Steve Timm officiating. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel and for one hour prior to the service at the church. Honorary pallbearers will be Mills, Vanessa and Mason Wood, Tucker and Jackson Gadient and Bradley Gutting.
