Mary Catherine Reuter

Mary "Kay" Catherine Reuter, 66, of Red Wing died of cancer Friday December 24, 2010 at Samaritan Bethany Heights in Rochester. She was born on July 25, 1944 to Vincent and Adeline (Reiland) Reuter. She graduated from Goodhue High School in 1962 and Mankato State College in 1966 with a degree in Dietetics. She was employed in food service in the Twin Cities, Jostens in Red Wing, and retail at Phenomenal Women in Zumbrota, along with taking special care of her mother at their home. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She was an avid Twins fan, and enjoyed traveling. She enjoyed cats, gardening, and her collection of playing cards, and snowmen.

She is survived by one brother, John (Lynette) Reuter of Maple Plain; two sisters, Jeanne Reuter of Red Wing, Victoria (Jim) Anderson of Lakeville; six nieces and nephews, Jonah Anderson, Ann Reuter, Robyn Anderson, Vince Reuter, Molly Reuter, Mandy Reuter and three grand nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Mass of the Resurrection will be 11 a.m. Wednesday December 29, 2010 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Thomas Kommers presiding. Burial will be at a later date at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Bellechester. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday December 28, 2010 at Mahn Family Funeral Home-Bodelson Mahn Chapel and at the church for one hour prior to the service. Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society or donor's choice.
