Mary Alice Marks

Mary Alice Marks, 64, of Red Wing, died Sunday, March 7, 2021 at the Bay View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Red Wing. She was born May 26, 1956, in Northfield, to Glenn and Alice (Rogne) Marks.  Her family moved to Randolph and later Welch. She attended school in Cannon Falls.  Mary and her mother moved to Red Wing where she has since resided.  She was employed with the IRC, now ProAct.  Mary enjoyed the simple things in life--like watching tv, riding her bike around town and attending services at First Lutheran Church where she was a member.  She was a like a big kid at heart, was always friendly and had a happy-go-lucky attitude.  She enjoyed socializing and doing things with her LSS staff and friends and attending Camp Winnebago.

She is survived by her brother, Glenn (Hope) Marks of San Padre, TX; sister, Barbara (Dave) Marks of Motley, MN and 2 nephews, Jacob and Benjamin Marks.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, George Marks and a nephew, Keith Marks.

Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2021 at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.  Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com
