Mary Margaret (Fick) Lamb

Mary Margaret (Fick) Lamb was called to her heavenly home on January 27th, 2017 from pancreatic cancer.
Mary was born January 14, 1945 to Lawrence and Harriet (Hoeft) Fick in Lake City, MN. She attended Jacksonville Country School, St. Johns Parochial school and graduated from Wabasha High School in 1962.
Mary was employed at the Lake City State Bank and DiAcro. She retired in 2000 from Valley Craft.
On October 3rd 1964 she married Donald I. Lamb at St. John's Lutheran church in Lake City. They were blessed with two sons, Donald Jr. and Joel.
Don and Mary spent many winters together at their home in North Port, Florida. They enjoyed playing cards with friends, fishing and being together with friends and family.
Mary loved watching her granddaughter's activities. She enjoyed their basketball and volleyball games, band concerts and dance recitals. She loved treating the girls to special lunches with grandma and grandpa.
Mary is survived by her husband Don, two sons, Don Jr. of Columbus, Wisconsin, and Joel (Jen) of Stewartville, Minnesota; three granddaughters, Erin, Emily and Erica; two brothers, Emery (Vicky) Fick and Jerry (Arlene) Fick of Lake City; one sister, Diane Lemke of Mazeppa and many nieces and nephews, Logan and Adison Cole, Thomas, Simon and Greta Brand who held a special place in Mary's heart. Mary was preceded in death by her parents.
A Memorial Service will be held, Saturday, February 4th at 11 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lake City with Reverend Paul Otto officiating. Burial will be at St. John's Cemetery in Lake City. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 at Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson-Peterson Chapel Lake City. Friends may also call one hour before the service at the church.
