Mary K. Miller

Mary Katherine Lucille Miller, 76, of Red Wing, died Monday, December 14, 2015, at her home, surrounded by family. She was born November 20, 1939, in Maiden Rock, Wisconsin, to Ernest and Vera (Holmberg) Hase and graduated from Pepin High School in 1957. On April 12, 1958, she was united in marriage to Leonard R. Miller in Clayfield, Wisconsin, and they made their home in Red Wing. She did some babysitting and housekeeping and had worked at the Dairy Queen, but primarily tended to her home and family. Mary enjoyed sewing, crafts, baking and being with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard of Red Wing; one son, Nicholas (Gayle) Miller of Owatonna; 3 grandchildren, Valerie Miller of Ellsworth, Wisc., Jedidiah (Jamie) Miller and Zacariah (Sam) Miller both of Red Wing; great-grandchildren, Jamie Miller, Jorden and Faith Holt, Kallie, Laynee, EmberLynn, Aviana and Adaleah Miller; siblings, Shirley (James) Halverson of Red Wing, Ernie (Georgia) Hase of Hager City, Eugene (Helen) Hase of Hager City, Howard (Delores) Hase of Red Wing, Charlotte (Dennis) Borst of Red Wing, Joseph (Shirley) Hase of Cumberland, Wisc., Susanne Hase of Red Wing; sister-in-law, Muriel Dodge of Red Wing and several step-grand and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sons, Terry and Lenny Miller; 4 brothers, Robert, Tom, Ronald and Neil Hase and 1 infant sister, Joan Hase.
A celebration of Mary's life will be held on Saturday, April 23 at the Izaak Walton Club in Red Wing from 12pm- 4pm. Arrangements handled by Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.mahnfmailyfuneralhome.com
