Mary B. Fette age 84 of the West Concord area died on Friday, October 21, 2011 at her family's lake home on Lake Zumbro. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Concord Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 28, 2011 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the Mahn Family Funeral Home - Mahler Chapel in Pine Island.
Mary B. Campbell was born on July 6, 1927 in Holtville, California to Willard and Bertha (nee Gillett) Campbell. She grew up in Holtville and attended school there. Her five children were born in California and the family resided in Arizona, Kentucky and MInnesota. Mary was an avid gardener and loved to share her fresh produce and canned produce, especially her dill pickles. She also enjoyed feeding and watching the birds, reading, puzzles, playings cards and attending garage sales.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Richard) Haynie of Grants Path, OR; son, Wesley Curtis (Maria) Ashley of Gallatin, TN; daughter, Leslie Faye Duke of Edmonton, KY; daughter, Victoria (John) Kenworthy of Pine Island; daughter, Teresa Fette of Lake Zumbro; thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Francis Ledbetter of Grants Path, OR and Jeanette Eberl of Holtville, CA.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Clyde H. Fette; parents, Willard and Bertha Campbell; siblings, Wilbur Campbell, Orville Campbell, Leslie Campbell, Bernice Campbell and Joyce Hale.
Memorials are preferred to Seasons Hospice, St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Veterans Hospital in Minneapolis.
Her humerous antidotes and fiesty spirit will be greatly missed.
