Mary Crotty, 83, of Owatonna and formerly of Red Wing, died Saturday at Infinia at Owatonna. She was born on September 17, 1922 in Dogal, Manitoba, Canada to William and Pauline (Lysok) Duik. She graduated from high school in Emerson, Manitoba, Canada. On March 1, 1945 she married Edward Crotty. They moved to Red Wing in 1948 and she worked for 30 years at Woolworth?s and Thrifty White Drug in Red Wing. He died on September 10, 1987. Since 1996 she has resided in Owatonna. She was a member of the Church of St. Joseph and enjoyed playing bingo, cards and doing puzzles. Survivors include three children, Ronald Crotty of Las Vegas, Nevada, Dianne Crotty of Antioch, California and Neil (Arlene) Crotty of Owatonna; two grandchildren, NeGail (Eric) Torborg and Tyler Crotty; three sisters, Helen Milburn of Fredricton, New Brunswick, Kathleen Crotty of Red Wing and Susie Skinner of Emerson, Manitoba and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and one sister, Ann Buckingham. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Rev. Bruce Peterson officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be NeGail Torborg, Tyler Crotty, Vern Bartlett, Doug Fredrickson and Tim, Nathan and Paul Hallquist. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, June 19, at the funeral home and for one hour prior to the service.
