OBITUARY: Mary Ann Bartholome


Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Bartholome will be at 11 AM on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bellechester, with Father Bruce Peterson officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery Fund.

Mary Ann Bartholome, age 66, of Goodhue died on Friday, February 8, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester. She was born on October 7, 1941 in Albert Lea, MN to Paul and Bertha (Anderson) Sipple. She graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1959 and worked as a secretary for St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester. On October 16, 1971, she married Carroll Leonard Bartholome at St. John's Catholic Church in Rochester. They farmed near Bellechester thru out their marriage. Mary enjoyed being a farm wife, reading, crafts, cooking and baking for her family, gardening, puzzles and word finds. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Mary is survived by her husband of 36 years, Carroll, of Goodhue, MN; two daughters: Paula, of Bellechester, MN and Debra, of Goodhue, MN; one son, James (Lisa) of Goodhue, MN; four grandchildren: Ashley Warnke, Samantha, Madison and Austin Bartholome; one sister, Kathy (Tom) Haberman, of Owatonna, MN; one brother, Richard (Marlene) of Albert Lea, MN; many special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parent, Paul and Bertha, her in-laws, Leonard and Loretta Bartholome, and her brother-in-law, Lyle Bartholome.

Visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home Larson Chapel in Zumbrota and one hour preceding services at the church on Wednesday.
