Mary F. Baldwin age 72 of Lake City died October 22, 2006 at St. Mary?s Hospital in Rochester. Mary was born August 21, 1934 in Modoc, IL to Russell & Phleta (Ling) Hoffman. Mary graduated from Red Bud High School in Red Bud, IL in 1951. She moved to Chicago, IL where she worked for Martin Brower as a buyer for the food distributor. She worked for the company for 20 years and retired in October of 1994. She moved to Lake City in 1995 to be near her family. She enjoyed reading, sewing and quilting. Mary is survived by two daughters, Robin (Joshua A. Heartsong) Collins of Boulder, CO, Kim (Keith Richardson) Baldwin of Lake City; one son, Russell (Manda) Baldwin of Lake City; four grandchildren, Lauren Collins, Mary Emma Baldwin, Margaret Baldwin; four step-grandchildren, Nina Richardson, Erin Richardson, Hali Richardson, Michael Hart; one brother, Sherman (Debra) Hoffman of St. Louis, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Funeral service will be held Friday October 27, 2006 at the First Congregational Church in Lake City at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David Badgley officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 8 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson-Peterson Chapel Lake City. Friends may also call one hour before the service at the church. Memorials are preferred to the First Congregational Church.
