Marvin N. Whipple

Marvin Neil Whipple, 61, of Red Wing, died unexpectedly Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at his home. He was born June 7, 1959, in Hastings to Myron and Ruth (Hamilton) Whipple. He graduated from Cannon Falls High School in 1977. On April 24, 1982, he was united in marriage to Candace Bath. For more than 30 years he worked for the Red Wing Shoe Company until retiring. In his retirement years he would purchase and resell storage units. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and spending time with his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife Candy; three daughters, Jessica (Justin Dougherty), Melinda (John Swan) and Samantha (Zac Miller); 10 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jacob, Justin Jr., Jackson, Emma Ellie, Eden, Brayden, Aviana and Adaleah; his mother, Ruth Whipple; four siblings, Lori Whipple, Mona (Doug) Liebswager, Jay Whipple and Mike (Nicole) Whipple; as well as several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother, Mark Whipple; nephew, Dillon Liebswager; father, Myron Whipple and his in-laws, Ed and Eleanor Bath
