Martha Christine Jagusch, 88, Red Wing, died Wednesday at St. Brigid?s at Hi-Park. She was born September 5, 1917 in Colfax, Wisconsin, the daughter of Thomas and Julie (Hanson) Jacobson. She was a 1935 graduate of Red Wing Central High School. She worked for Sears & Roebuck, Citizens Security Insurance, Red Wing Service Company and the Red Wing School District. She married Robert ?Bud? Jagusch on June 14, 1947. She was a member of United Lutheran Church. They spent the last 26 winters in Texas. She enjoyed working in Bud?s Strawberry Patch, cooking, golfing, playing cards and being with her family. Survivors include her husband, Robert F. ?Bud?; two daughters, Carol (Neil) Sideen of Howard Lake and Helen (Roger) Manthei of Danube; eight exchange students from Sweden and Germany; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Elsie Anderson and one brother, Robert Jacobson and sister-in-law, Norma Bang. Funeral will be 11 a. m. Saturday at United Lutheran Church with Reverend Randall Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel and on Saturday for one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials are preferred to the church.
