Martha Eckblad

Martha Jane Eckblad, 53, Wanamingo, died Wednesday at Riverview Services in Wanamingo. She was born September 16, 1954 in Red Wing, the daughter of Harold and Lois (Luth) Eckblad. She has lived in various group homes since the age of 4, most recently at Riverside Services. She was a longtime employee of ProAct in Zumbrota.

Survivors include her mother, Lois Eckblad of Red Wing; three siblings, Carol (Dick) Kosec and Bruce (Priscilla) Eckblad, all of Red Wing and Judy Cote of Portland, Maine; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold and two brothers, Dale and David.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Reverend Tim Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Burnside Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
