Marlys Marie Lindholm, age 75, of Becker, Minnesota, died Tuesday at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale. She was born on July 15, 1932, in Ellsworth, Wisconsin, to Everett and Myrtle (Nordgard) Bolin. She attended rural schools and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. She taught at the same rural school that she had attended. She married Arthur Lindholm at Tabor Lutheran Church, Bay City, Wisconsin. They moved to Red Wing, and moved several times prior to moving to Wayzata. Arthur died on October 25, 2004. She enjoyed music, baking pastries and her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Anthony (Linda) Lindholm of Princeton, Timothy (Hope) Lindholm of Brooklyn Park, Lynette (Bregel) Lindholm of New London, and John Lindholm of St. Cloud; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Calvin (Julie) Bolin of Red Wing; two sisters, Bonnie (Calvin) Johnson of Menomonie, and Lisa (Doug) Kirchner of Jacksonville, Illinois; uncle Floyd Olson of Maiden Rock. Her husband preceded her in death.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Tabor Lutheran Church with Reverend Carol Ann McArdell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel and one hour prior to the time of services Tuesday at the church.
