Marlin Daniel Dressen, 62, of Hay Creek, died Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at his home. He was born May 3, 1957 in Red Wing to DeWayne and Elda (Reese) Dressen. He grew up in Red Wing and graduated from Red Wing High School in 1975. After high school he went to work on his family farm. He also helped out on neighboring farms. Later he worked for Ag Partners in the feed and grain department and as a truck driver. On November 8, 1975 he married Linda Stumpf. The couple had 4 children. They later divorced. For more than 20 years he has been with his fiancée, Deb Busby.

A cowboy at heart, Marlin enjoyed listening to country music, both current and classic, with a little bit of rock n' roll mixed in. Regardless of music, he always played it loudly. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He particularly enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren.
